My concept art of location and the concept of a world entirely made up of sewing accessories.
Translation of text from the fourth picture:
"The world of Mokos is almost entirely black and white.
Grey sky, grey earth, grey mountains, grey inhabitants.
Only deep ground waters have color here. They are brightly colored with pigments and unfit for drinking.
But they can bloom fields and houses. The locals actively decorate the surrounding world with fabrics. In the cold season, fields are covered with coloured blankets of patchwork, for beauty and to prevent plants from freezing.
Before, fabrics were dyed in rivers and lakes, but the water in them is too clear and the colour turns out to be dim.
Then wells were dug, but digging was deep, it was expensive, so one village could afford to have only one or two colors.
But the technology wasn't standing still. Cities were moving towards villages, and factories came with them, drilling wells and automating the production of fabrics and threads".
